Jonathann Kuo, MD is a leader in the interventional mental health space, spearheading multiple clinical trials to study and refine innovative treatments that are transforming mental health care. Dr. Kuo works hand in hand with top psychiatrists and MDs like Dr. Eugene Lipov for Dual Sympathetic Block, and Dr. Albert Brooks and Dr. Casey Paleos for Psychedelic Therapies. Together, this team of industry leaders is developing the new frontier of mental health care. Dr. Kuo has performed hundreds of Dual Sympathetic Blocks and is considered a thought leader in the fight against PTSD and other mood disorders.

Brandon Lau is a certified Physician Assistant, supervised by Dr. Kuo, who both oversees and administers our IV Ketamine program. In addition, Brandon assists in the evaluation and clinical management of our TMS and DSB patients. He has performed hundreds of IV Ketamine treatments as part of Hudson Mind. Prior to joining the Hudson team, Brandon utilized IV Ketamine for the management of Neurology patients in the Neurologic ICU at Columbia University Medical Center. Brandon completed his medical training from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is originally from the small town of Hilo, Hawaii where he received his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Hawaii, while also serving as a Combat Medic in the Army Reserves. Today, Brandon continues his service in the reserves as a physician’s assistant. Beyond Hudson Mind, Brandon also works with Dr. Pitts and Dr. Kuo in Neurology and Pain Management.

Paula Lamanna, LCSW, CASAC (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker, credentialed alcoholism and substance use counselor, Level III EMDR provider, certified yoga teacher and certified psychedelic-assisted therapy provider. Paula received her master’s degree from New York University. She received her post-graduate certifications from The Integrative Psychiatry Institute and the Parnell Institute for EMDR. Paula believes that each client is unique, and she works with them to determine the best treatment for them, integrating multiple therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, a proven trauma treatment, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindfulness, among others. Paula views her clients from a holistic perspective and supports them in exploring all aspects of their lives that may be contributing to their difficulties, mind, body and spirit. Marcel Green MD is a double board-certified Child & Adolescent as well as Adult Psychiatrist. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s medical school, and obtained psychiatry residency training within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and child-adolescent psychiatry fellowship training within the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is licensed to practice medicine in New York and California and has practiced extensively within the in- and outpatient settings and within urban, suburban, and rural settings of both states. His clinical experience confers comfort in the delivery of a holistic, individualized care in treating all psychiatric conditions and acuity levels. Dr. Green specializes in Interventional Psychiatry, with dual expertise in contemporary treatment models from the field’s frontier, along with the integration of psychiatric and psychological treatment models with interventions across the wellness spectrum.

Alessandra Fabris-Tantawi LCSW, M.Ed (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker, holistic psychotherapist, integrative trauma specialist, sex therapist and educator. Alessandra received her graduate degrees from the Columbia University School of Social Work and Ithaca College. Alessandra received her post-graduate certifications from the Ackerman Institute for the Family and most recently the Embody Lab. She is also a professor and field advisor at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Alessandra is an embodied healer integrating her esteemed academic degrees and certifications with a holistic, somatic and psychospiritual approach to support liberation and wellbeing for her clients and community alike. Widely considered to be the pioneer of Dual Sympathetic Block for PTSD, Dr. Lipov is one of the world’s leading experts in psycho-anesthesia. Dr. Lipov is a physician researcher and board-certified anesthesiologist who specializes in intervention-based pain management in the Chicago area. In 2006, using DSB, Dr. Lipov was the first to report significant reduction of the effects of trauma by rebooting the nervous system to a pre-trauma state. Since then, his research, clinical work, and publishing of 40+ medical papers, has led to the successful treatment of thousands of survivors of war, rape, violence, assault, catastrophic accidents, neglect, abandonment, and child abuse––every type and extreme of trauma imaginable––no matter how brief or ongoing the trauma. Dr. Lipov has presented his work to Barack Obama, US Senators and Congressmen, the US Committee of Veteran Affairs, and has made multiple media appearances. Dr. Lipov is Stella Center’s founder and Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Casey Paleos is a board-certified psychiatrist with well over 12 years of experience as a leader in ketamine and other psychedelic medicines in both research and clinical settings. A Co-Principal Investigator for the NYU-Bellevue Ketamine for Depression Study, Dr. Paleos was one of the early researchers to identify ketamine as a breakthrough treatment for depression. As a clinician, he has been treating patients for depression and anxiety using ketamine therapy in his New York private practice since 2016. In addition to his work with ketamine, Dr. Paleos has helped advance research in other areas of psychedelic medicine. Today, he serves as a Co-Principal Investigator for the MAPS-sponsored MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy for PTSD Phase 3 Clinical Trials. Previously, he was a Co-Principal Investigator for the MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy Phase 2 Clinical Trials and a Study Therapist for the NYU Psilocybin Cancer Anxiety Study.

Tasha is a graduate of Wagner College where she studied arts and business administration. She began her career in the world of indie music public relations and eventually found herself in the mental health field, spending 4 years leading the building and expansion of a neurostimulation program. As a fierce advocate of quality mental healthcare, Tasha utilizes her creative problem-solving and quick-thinking capabilities to ensure patients’ needs are always met. Despite facing many barriers and obstacles, she has found her work in creating systems that allow clinicians to deliver mental health treatment to be enjoyable and rewarding. Outside of work and spending time with family and friends, Tasha enjoys live music, horror movies, powerlifting and video games.
